What? Ethiopian food?! I’m telling you, you’re going to keep coming back for more.

Here’s a preview of a shot I took in Nil Bleu, the Ethiopian restaurant that I reviewed for Montreal Restaurant Club last weekend.
Listen, if you’ve never had Ethiopian food then you really REALLY have to try it in Nil Bleu. (I just don’t want you to miss such good food….) Some might ask: what on earth is Ethiopian food? I’d say it’s pretty similar to Indian cuisine in a way, it uses a lot of spices and the texture is kind of similar. Don’t forget to order a plate of hummus, they’re literally scoops of creamy hummus that you’d keep asking for more. And their injera (the mini rolls in the photo) are superb. I would certainly put Nil Bleu on my favourite Montreal restaurants list from now on!

I can’t write too much on Nil Bleu at the moment since I’m waiting for my partner Ed to send me his photos (oh yes, please let me clarify that I’m a writer for MRC. I just brought my camera along with me so I could take some photos, but obviously Ed took much nicer photos and he kindly offered me his photos so I can feature and share them with you guys!) and I still have to write the official review for MRC. After that I will write a full review on my exhilarating experience in this award-winning restaurant. Stay tuned!

p.s. I’m going out for another MRC review later this afternoon and this time I’m going to have sushi! Will update soon when I have some delish photos :)
