Ultra feminine, yet edgy – Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey, one of the rising stars in the music industry made her first cover for Vogue’s March 2012. The issue plays off her ultra femininity very well with the Spring inspired outfits. I had a jaw on the floor moment when I saw her in the pink blouse with bell-shaped sleeves (last photo in the set), it gives her such a sweet yet sexy vibe. The American singer and songwriter released her debut album “Born To Die” in January and stunned the world with her melancholic and edgy voice. Her live performances might not have been as good (maybe too nervous?) as one expected but her album was very impressive indeed. Lana Del Rey’s mix of indie and sadcore music made me keep looping it over and over again.
