Travel catalog: Day 2 in Seoul

It’s been a hectic week lately. I just got back from Seoul a few days ago and now here I am in Beijing! As promised, here are some photos from the second day of my stay in Korea. There was nothing much going on on that day since I was pretty sick and tired but I still met up with my unni (this is how girls call their close girl friends who are older than them in Korean) and ate around (as expected).

a huge varieties of rice crackers.

Filling the rice cracker with vanilla ice cream.

Soy bean soup noodles. It’s really filling since the whole broth is made by finely grounded soy beans.

a balling puppy all dressed up for a fashion show in insadong

cometics store that’s called too cool for school.

My unni Ci Jieun! We met in Montreal when she was exchanging in McGill.

A crazy disco jump with the guy jumping up and down in the middle.

The guy dragged the girl out -> the guy kept being hit by the girl, which explained his facial expression.

Military oppas enjoying watching the show.

Korean barbecue is a completely different story in Seoul. I’ve never had such a good pork feast before. We had marinated pork and pork neck. I would go back every other day if I had the time.

Here’s just a small part of my trip and I’ll update as soon as I get time off from my classes/exploring in Beijing!
