lion, coffee and hot chocolate

DSC_0541
Located just a step away from McGill campus, Café Humble Lion is an local independent cafe that opened a few weeks ago. It’s my latest study hub and I love the soothing ambiance. The cafe is pretty spacious as there are only a couple of tables and high wooden tables, but I’ve never failed to find a seat whenever I go there. Café Humble Lion serve basic coffee drinks such as macchiato , latte, cappuccino, americano, and a few selection of tea (comes in a tea pot). They also offer a variety of pastries, from biscotti to morning muffins!

Raspberry Bar
Sprinkled with icing sugar, the crumbly pastry is layered with sharp and sweet raspberry jam. I push my fork down the buttery crust, HmmMmmmmmMmm.. my tummy is filled with sugary love. If you’re a sweet tooth, you’re going to love this.

Hot Chocolate
Made with 70% dark chocolate (not sure if I got this right from my vague memory) and 3% milk, this hot chocolate is a charmer. You can’t smell a hug or cuddle. But if I could, it would be this cup of hot chocolate.

And since it’s Valentine’s Day today, isn’t it a good idea to grab a cuppa to go and bring it to your special someone? It would be perfect if you bring some mini marshmallow to top with the milky chocolate! ;)

The treat and the hot chocolate look so delicious. If I lived in Montreal, I’d be there in a second.

Marshmallow are in stock most of the time… Generally offered for our kids for extra excitement! Please simply ask for it as they are offered on demand only! :-)
