My best friend Jaye is in town for a week and I brought him out for brunch at the Mile End this weekend (next blog post: British brunch place Lawrence!). It was a really nice day out and the sun was finally shining (after Montreal got a bit too wasted and gave us a huge snowstorm). It feels so good to get away from downtown and there are a bunch of cool cafes and stores in the area. We wandered a bit before arriving at Lawrence and we spent the time waiting for our table at Cafe Sardine next door. It’s a nice spot to meet up with friends and brunch is also available! I’ll definitely visit again to try out their brunch menu.
