Ashley Yue is a traveling foodie who’s currently studying at McGill University in Montreal and can’t decide which city she loves better: the foodie paradise that she’s born and raised in – Hong Kong… or the artsy Montreal (where her favourite band Stars is from) that entrances her so much.

Some things that she can’t live without: dim sum, street food, jasmine bubble tea, grass jelly with mango/strawberries, guacamole poutine, maple tarts from Jean Talon market, cookies and her mum’s home cooking. Mind you, these are just the “some”. Obviously, the list keeps going on and on……

Where the Sweet Things Are is where she puts her thoughts into: the bits & pieces of her journey as a foodie in Montreal and Hong Kong, music, books and fashion. Hope you enjoy this site!
